Hook Sword

What is the hook sword?

The Hook sword aka (twin hooks, fu tao,  tiger head hook, etc). The sword itself doesn't look very practical but in the right hands can be a deadly weapon. The sword originated in  China and used by Wushu weapons routines and northern styles of Chinese martial arts but has been picked up by southern styles.

In most cases, a two-hand style of fighting is use with the hook sword. All parts of the sword are sharpened except for the part you hold. The Hook's at the end of the sword can be interlocked and swinging around for more reach which increases Force but has to be slowed down to get back the two hand style of fighting. The hook can also be used for pulling down your opponent sword or Both swords can you use to lock off opponent sword.

​​Know if you have never heard of Mortal Kombat I don't know what to say it's a fighting game. The Hook sword is used by Kabal in Mortal Kombat.

​Bleach

This anime is a pretty good anime if you've never seen it, it's a good watch 8 out of 10. This anime was known as one of the big three let's just not think about ending. Know you maybe thinking who has a hook sword in Bleach well it's none other than laura Kira. His Hook sword is not a pair but has the ability to double the weight of his opponent's weapon.

​Avatar: The Last Airbender

​Avatar The Last Airbender Is a really good show and I know it's not actually anime but it sure feels like it at times.In Avatar there is a character named jet and he has a pair of hook swords.
